La Tia Cafe to open in former Breakfast Club space
UPDATED – Breakfast is once again going to be available at the former Breakfast Club space – along with lunch and dinner, too.
Laura and Pablo Camargo are opening La Tia Cafe in the space at 1002 S. Seneca.
“My specialty is Mexican food,” Laura Camargo says.
Along with Mexican food and breakfast all day, there will be American dishes as well.
Camargo says she will feature all home cooking and no processed food.
The restaurant, which opens next week, will be serving from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
Though the name La Tia literally means “the aunt,” Camargo says in Mexico people who are the right-hand chefs and helpers in the kitchen often are called that.
