If there’s any doubt that moving an entire art gallery across town is exhausting, Reuben Saunders points to his Fitbit numbers as proof.

He’s been averaging about 17,000 steps a day while moving Reuben Saunders Gallery and his Artworks framing business from Piccadilly Square to the former Traditions space on the south side of Douglas just east of Hillside.

“I did reach 27,000 and 35 flights one day during the move,” Saunders says.

The plus side, he says, is he can eat anything he wants – and he’s been doing it, too, he jokes.
