Not much more than half a year after opening their first Wichita Lina’s Mexican Restaurant, the owners are opening another one.
“We want to go ahead and try doing a second restaurant,” says manager Frances Mendez.
The first Lina’s opened in the one-time Smashburger space near 34th and Woodlawn about seven months ago.
The new Lina’s will open in the former Jacky Chan Sushi space at 4910 E. Central just east of Oliver.

There are also four Lina’s restaurants in Nebraska.
Troy Farha of NAI Martens and Don Ablah of Classic Real Estate handled the second Wichita deal.
Like the original Wichita Lina’s, the new one will have a drive-through.
Lina’s, which specializes in breakfast burritos, among other things, is open from 6 a.m. to midnight. The new one will be as well.
Look for the second Lina’s to open in April.
