Juni’s Cafe in Comotara Center to close

Jeniffer Kang has decided to close her Juni’s Cafe after three years in business at Comotara Center near 29th and Rock Road.

“I don’t have much customers,” Kang says.

She says she mostly runs the Korean restaurant on her own, and she couldn’t put anything more into the business.

Kang is interested, though, in possibly finding a small lunchtime spot somewhere. She says she can’t think too much about that yet until she gets this restaurant closed.

Thursday is Juni’s last day in business.

Kang says there’s someone else who is interested in opening another Korean restaurant, Kimchi, in her space, but nothing is finalized yet.

In addition to possibly opening another restaurant, Kang says she’s also going to teach a continuing education class at Wichita State University on Korean language and culture, which likely will include food as well.
