Kay Wiggins to close her jewelry and gift store
After more than 16 years in business, Kay Wiggins has decided to close her Kay Wiggins Jewelry and Gifts.
“It’s going to be sad,” Wiggins says.
The store, which is at 600 S. Tyler, is closed now as Wiggins reprices items for a going-out-of-business sale, but it will reopen on Thursday.
The store will remain open through the end of the year.
“My husband is retired,” Wiggins says. He wants to do some traveling, and he told me he can go with me or without me.”
Wiggins says she’s getting older and decided it’s time to go.
She’s started telling customers.
“My Facebook is blowing up this morning.”
Wiggins says she and her staff want to thank all their customers.
“I’ve had very loyal customers,” she says. “My staff and I will miss them all.”
