X-Press Signs & Graphics has been growing by at least 25 percent for each of the past seven years it’s been in business, and now its physical space is growing, too.
“We’ve just been so limited in our floor space,” says Gregg Wright, who owns the business with his wife, Sandy.
“We just don’t have the room to bust out the equipment, you might say.”
By December, they will.

The business, which has about 16 employees, is currently in about 6,000 square feet that the company leases at 3845 W. Harry.
Now, it’s moving to the 21,000-square-foot space that Ebersole Lapidary Supply used to be in at 5830 W. Hendryx, which is between Donovan Auto & Truck Center and Furniture Row.
The move will allow the business to add new equipment and services, such as more lamination and coding services and printing work.
“We’re basically like a trade printer,” Gregg Wright says.
The business has some direct customers, such as people who might want business cards.
X-Press does more business-to-business work, though, such as with other printing companies, sign companies, architects and engineers.
Coca-Cola in Atlanta just became a customer this week, Wright says.
“That kind of says a lot for a little mom-and-pop shop, honestly.”
Wright says he thinks X-Press has a lot of equipment that similar businesses don’t.
“I feel like we’re probably one of the largest grand-format printers in this part of the state,” he says. “We’re fairly unique in what we do.”
The new space also has a large lot that will allow for future expansion, Wright says.
“We’ve just been very fortunate,” he says. “It’s been a pretty incredible ride.”
