China Go XP to open at Plazzio
A new restaurant is opening at the Plazzio development at 13th and Webb where the east-side Warren Theatre is.
Debbie Diec is opening her third China Go restaurant. This one will be called China Go XP because it’s what she calls an express restaurant with a drive-through.
China Go XP, which also will have seating for 30, will open between Cheddar’s and Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers.
There’s also a China Go near 37th and Woodlawn and China Go Cafe near Harry and Rock Road. The restaurants have Chinese cuisine.
“Besides what we’re already known for … we’re going to (have) a burrito concept,” Diec says.
Kung Pao burritos will be Mexican-style wraps with Asian ingredients. Customers will be able to choose meat and vegetables to have in the wraps.
Construction will start in a week or two, and China Go XP should be ready in February.
Next, Diec says she wants to make her west-side customers happy by opening near them. She’s already eyeing a space.
“Once this is open, we’ll do the next plan.”
