There’s no scientific study to point to, but it seems like the majority of new restaurants open later than planned. Sometimes that’s weeks or months later.
In the case of Erbert & Gerbert’s Bistro, which is opening at Wichita State University, it’s just a couple of days later.
Originally, the sandwich shop was slated to open Aug 24.
“I just wanted to let you know that of course, since it is a restaurant, Erbert & Gerbert’s Bistro’s opening has been pushed back to the 26th,” e-mailed Samantha Amato, who is with the Chicago-based firm promoting the Wisconsin-based chain.
Erbert & Gerbert’s, which is known for uniquely named sandwiches such as Comet Candy, Spartan and Quatro that each come with their own story, will open on the first floor of the Rhatigan Student Center.
