Southwest Airlines adds a new direct flight from Wichita to this popular city
Nashville continues to gain in popularity, for everyone from music lovers to business travelers to bachelorettes, and now it’s going to be easier to make the getaway.
Southwest Airlines has added a direct flight to Music City, and it kicks off in March.
“We’re thrilled to continue growing our partnership with Wichita by adding Nashville to our route map,” said Hudson Hadd, Southwest’s network planning consultant, in a news release.
Officials at Wichita’s Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport appear just as excited.
“Nashville nonstop service strengthens Wichita’s air service portfolio, provides more travel options for our passengers, and creates new opportunities for business, tourism, and family travel,” said director of airports Jesse Romo in the release.
Though the service doesn’t start until spring, tickets for the direct flight are available as of Thursday at www.Southwest.com.
