Bella Luna Cafe owner Matteo Taha has decided to hold off on remodeling his restaurant in Bradley Fair on Rock Road for a couple of reasons.
“The truth is everybody thinks we closed Rock and Central,” he says.
The truth is only one of those restaurants actually closed.
Taha recently closed his Bella Luna on East Central, and he’d planned to briefly close the Bradley Fair Bella Luna for remodeling. He says too many people thought that restaurant was closing permanently, too, so he’s going to wait.
“I think it’s better so we don’t confuse them again.”
Taha says his construction workers also aren’t ready to start the job just yet. He says remodeling still could happen in a few months, though.
A Bella Luna in NewMarket Square also remains open.
Mostly, though, Taha says he wants to be clear about the east-side Bella Luna.
“We did not close the Rock Road (restaurant). It is still open.”
