At Home, the Home Decor Superstore, is opening Thursday in the space where Target earlier this year closed its store at 301 S. Towne East Mall Drive.
Dallas-based At Home is planning a soft opening initially and will have a grand opening next week, including a ribbon cutting on Aug. 21 and a $50 gift card giveaway for the first 100 customers on Aug. 22.
At Home formerly was known as Garden Ridge Pottery, which was named for the chain’s first store outside Garden Ridge, Texas.
The 104,000-square-foot Wichita store will sell a variety of home decor items, such as pillows, candles, chairs, mirrors, patio furniture and holiday-themed merchandise.
Hours are 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday.
