Jos. A. Bank, one of the early Bradley Fair retailers, is closing this month.

“We just don’t get enough business here,” said manager Mercedes Gross.

The menswear store first opened at the center in 1994, a few years after Bradley Fair opened at 21st and Rock Road.

It then left and returned in 2004.

The chain’s last day in business in Wichita will be Dec. 11.

Gross said there’s not a store-closing sale of any kind because the merchandise will be distributed to Jos. A. Bank stores elsewhere.

She said the California corporation is looking to see if it makes sense to open elsewhere in Wichita.

The chain’s sister company, Men’s Wearhouse, has two Wichita stores, and Gross said those are not closing.
