A new kind of gentleman’s club is coming to East Kellogg

After about a year and a half of searching for a site, Stefphany Almonte has found one for her gentleman’s club, restaurant and sports bar.

Naughty Angels Cabaret is in the former Nilla’s poker room space next to Onyx at 10001 E. Kellogg.

Almonte had hoped to open in Old Town, but a deal for space there fell through.

Naughty Angels is having a soft opening on Friday and will have a grand opening in December.

The 21-and-older business will be open from 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. on Mondays, 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays and noon to 2 a.m. Sundays.

Though Almonte is calling it a gentleman’s club, she said, “The girls are not allowed to strip.”

She said they’ll be in revealing outfits, including pasties and fishnet stockings.

“They’re just going to be dancing on the poles.”

There will be live bands and DJs along with a variety of food, including Mexican dishes.

Though she’d wanted to open in Old Town, Almonte said she likes how large the east-side space is.

“I fell in love with the building,” she said. “It’s the perfect layout.”

Almonte credits her fiance, Jose Torres, for helping her realize her longtime dream.

She said she’s “wanted to open up a cabaret in Wichita with Vegas and Miami vibes.”

“We don’t have something like that here.”
