UPDATED -- The auction of the contents of Wichita’s two Auntie Mae’s Cafes, which closed earlier this month, has begun at www.equip-bid.com.

Once at the site, click on “All Auctions” and scroll down to “**RUSH**Auntie Mae’s Attic Gift Store Auction!” to see hundreds of items.

In addition to typical things found in a restaurant, such as appliances, stemware and a fire extinguisher, the sale also has a number of random items that had previously been for sale at the restaurants, such as Kansas City Royals wind chimes, collectable pottery and an assortment of cream containers in the shape of cows.

The gift store auction ends at 5 p.m. on Sunday. The restaurant auction ends at 6:30 p.m. the same day.
