What’s under construction near Ninth and Waco?

If you’ve driven near Ninth and Waco lately and wondered what’s going on with the dirt and concrete work on the east side of Waco, Michael Moeder can tell you.

He said his family is building another flex warehouse and office space.

Moeder’s parents, Susan and Leon Moeder, have built a few around the city, including ones across from Top Golf and more at Second and Hydraulic.

On Waco, there will be three large warehouses with small professional offices up front. There will be amenities such as kitchenettes built in.

“All the stuff you need to have a small office,” Moeder said.

Each unit will be just over 2,000 square feet and have 12-by-12-foot overhead doors.

“It seems like there’s a lot of new potential development happening over there,” Moeder said.

He said the other units around Wichita have been quite successful.

“They’re full all the time.”
