East-side franchise is moving two miles from one well-known Kellogg address to another

Budget Rent A Car is moving two miles west, from East Kellogg across from Walmart to 8144 E. Kellogg, which is about halfway between Rock and Webb roads.

“We’re kind of in the process of moving and opening now,” said general manager Adam Taylor.

Budget’s new space is just down from Riddle’s Jewelry.

“It’s going to be a great location for us,” Taylor said. “It’s got better visibility. Ever since the freeway construction, our visibility changed.”

Taylor said this is something of the local anchor store for the four Budget Rent A Car stores in the Wichita market.

“This location will give us the ability to kind of expand and . . . service the community better.”

He said the lot is bigger in addition to being better positioned.

Stephanie Wise of Street Commercial handled the deal.

Budget rents all kinds of automobiles and moving trucks.

Look for a grand opening in early January.
