Retailer to leave Towne East Square for former Denny’s space
After seven years at Towne East Square, Riddle’s Jewelry is leaving the mall for its own freestanding building.
“The community is really loving us, and we need more space,” said manager Binh Nguyen.
The store is moving from a relatively small space to almost 4,000 square feet at the former Denny’s restaurant at 8030 E. Kellogg.
“That will allow more customers to . . . roam around the store and look freely,” Nguyen said.
Also, he said, the new space will have “more of a luxurious feel than the mall.”
The family-owned South Dakota chain has more than 60 stores nationally.
Riddle’s sells all kinds of jewelry and watches with an emphasis on bridal jewelry.
Pandora will have its own section in the new store.
The store also offers repairs and in-house custom designs.
“We take our customer service really seriously,” Nguyen said.
Patrick Ahern and Troy Farha of NAI Martens handled the deal for the new space.
Nguyen said he hopes the move will happen by early June if not sooner.
“We’re just really excited,” he said.
“We feel like we’re a big part of the community. . . . Over the years, we’ve given the best service we can, and they’ve just given us back a lot of love.”
