The longtime dental building at 4620 E. Douglas in College Hill is going to have a new occupant who, not coincidentally, also is a dentist.
Terra Pauly is moving her Pauly Dental practice to the 5,100-square-foot building next to the Wine Dive near the northwest corner of Douglas and Oliver.
“The current location we’re in is just way too small,” she says.
Earlier this year, Pauly purchased dentist Joseph Baba’s general dentistry practice. He’s still in business but is focusing on specialty treatments for things such as TMJ and sleep apnea.

The two currently share space at 1035 N. Emporia.
“I’m trying to convince Dr. Baba to move,” Pauly says. “We don’t know if he is going to be moving with us or not.”
Pauly says she’ll have plenty of space and room to grow. She’s moving into the area on the west side of the building formerly occupied by Landreth Team Dentistry.
Landreth owner Will Baker joined the Frankenbery & Johnson practice at its new home at 3101 N. Cypress on the east side.
There’s additional space Pauly can lease on the east side of her new building.
“That other side has been vacant for quite a while,” she says.
Pauly is renovating the building and expects to move in this fall. She says a number of things attracted her to the space.
For instance, the windows overlooking landscaped areas.
“Just floor-to-ceiling windows,” Pauly says.
Marlin Penner of John T. Arnold Associates and Bradley Tidemann of J.P. Weigand & Sons handled the deal for the space.
Pauly says the Douglas and Oliver intersection is an attraction to her as well.
“The atmosphere around there is just really, really neat.”
Pauly says she’s excited to have the Wine Dive, the Hill Bar & Grill and Watermark Books & Cafe so close.
“It’s just a good little community around there.”
