Two new stores are coming to Eastgate Plaza at Kellogg and Rock Road.
Five Below is going to open its third Wichita store in the 10,000-square-foot space Kirkland’s is vacating in the middle of October, and Dollar Tree will go in the 8,800-square-foot space between David’s Bridal and Burlington.
Virginia-based Dollar Tree, where everything costs $1, already has numerous stores around the greater Wichita area.
Five Below is a Philadelphia-based chain that sells clothing, home decor, candy and more that’s all priced at $5 or below. It entered the Wichita market in 2017 with a store by Academy Sports & Outdoors on the west side near 27th and Maize Road.
The chain then followed with another store at Greenwich Place.
No one with Five Below or Dollar Tree could be reached for comment.
Christian Ablah of Classic Real Estate handled both deals along with Brad Saville of Landmark Commercial Real Estate on the Dollar Tree deal and David Boyd of Walter Morris Cos. on the Five Below transaction.
