Seafood Shop opens at Cambridge Market

The Seafood Shop is now open in its new space at Cambridge Market at 21st and Webb Road.

Owner Jessica Eberth says moving is never easy, but she says it’s already been worth it as a lot of new customers have walked through her door.

The store opened in Normandie at Central and Woodlawn in 2008.

Eberth says business was good there, but she says Cambridge Market gives her more room along with new customers.

The store still doesn’t have some of its grab-and-go items available, but otherwise it’s ready.

Eberth says with a window between the shop and its kitchen, she’s already learned a big lesson.

“Unfortunately, once we did that, I realized we have to keep the kitchen clean.”
