Dean & DeLuca sales to be the final ones at its longtime northeast Wichita space
It sounds like this weekend’s Dean & DeLuca warehouse sale and one that likely will follow in two weeks will be the last at the company’s longtime space at 2526 E. 36th Circle North.
No one with the company is commenting, but sources says Dean & DeLuca is moving its Wichita offices and warehouse to space near 47th and Broadway.
That likely is at 4727 S. Emporia St. where the company had a warehouse sale last year.
In addition to the warehouse, there will be offices for Dean & DeLuca’s accounting group, IT, some human resources and some supply-chain services.
The late Leslie Rudd used to own Dean & DeLuca, and his company still owns the 36th Circle North space.
This weekend’s sale is 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
There will be discounted Dean & DeLuca private-label items, candy, fruit, nuts and chocolate for sale. There also will be housewares, such as tabletop items, cooking and baking supplies and cutlery.
The company will take the following weekend off and likely have a final sale at the 36th Circle North space the weekend after that.
