Six years after opening her Salon Knotty & Tanning in El Dorado, Pam Cutler is looking to sell the business.
“I personally need to cut it back,” she says.
However, she says the salon was well received in the community, and she wants to make sure it ends up with the right person before letting it go.
“It’s my baby. I really want it to belong to someone local that can put more time into it than I can just part time.”

Cutler also has a Salon Knotty in Wichita.
The El Dorado business, which is in a century-old building at 142 N. Main St., has four styling stations, a massage and facial room and tanning areas, including a Mystic airbrush tanning booth.
“There’s nothing like it in El Dorado or really the surrounding area,” Cutler says of the business.
Her lease is up in June 2015. If the salon doesn’t sell by then, Cutler says, “I’m probably going to go ahead and just complete my lease and then that will be done.
