Security Self-Storage expands with new units, including larger ones

Clark Investment Group and Bill Ard are expanding their Security Self-Storage at 12515 E. Central near 127th and Central.

“We are adding some more climate-controlled units and some large units, which are unique to the market,” says Stephen Clark II. “There’s demand for larger units.”

A few of those larger units are also climate-controlled, he says.

“We are adding units that are up to 15 by 40,” Clark says. “That’s pretty big.”

There are oversized doors on both ends of the units that allow for all kinds of storage.

“Boy, you could store just about anything in one of those units,” Clark says. “They can handle boats, cars, toy boxes – all kinds of stuff can go in there.”

Currently, there are 404 units. There will be 40 new ones. Clark says that means an additional 10,500 square feet over two buildings.

Clark says the project design is by Jake Jackle at Innovative Construction Services and is being built by Ink Construction.

He says there won’t be room for expansion after this.

“This will finish out the property.”
