Guys, this new Eaton Place business is for you
Braeden Oakleaf has specialized in cutting men’s hair for the last couple of years, but he’s done it in salons.
“I just wanted to make … a more masculine-feeling place for all of my clients,” he says.
So now he’s opening TMH Studio, which stands for the Men’s Hairdresser Studio, at 110 S. Emporia downtown in Eaton Place.
The business has lots of exposed brick, old wood floors and hand-drawn art on its walls.
There are four barber chairs, and Oakleaf has hired barbers exclusively.
“I’m actually the only one who’s not,” says Oakleaf, who is a cosmetologist.
In addition to men’s cuts, TMH will offer shaving, including straight-razor shaves.
There’s a soft opening on Friday.
Regular hours will be 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
