What’s going to be one of the largest – if not the largest – nail salons in Wichita is going to open in Regency Lakes at 21st and Greenwich.

Classy Nails & Spa is going to open in just over 3,000 square feet and have a surprising 30 pedicure chairs, four of which are for children. There also will be 18 nail tables, six of which are at a bar.

“It’s great for people who want to come in and relax,” owner Trung Ninh says.

He says customers won’t be sitting cramped, elbow-to-elbow.

Trung has been living in South Dakota but wanted to move closer to his parents, who live in Texas.

“But I don’t like Texas.”

He says it’s too hot and “there’s too much family there.”

His brother lives here, so Trung decided to move to Wichita.

Classy Nails will start with nail services, waxing and eyelash extensions.

Trung says he may add microblading and massage.

The business is opening in early February between Denver Mattress and Lady Jane’s in a strip center within Regency Lakes along Greenwich.

Ryan Hubbard of NAI Martens and Christi Royse of J.P. Weigand & Sons handled the deal.

Trung says there’s a chance he and his partners could open a second Classy site.

“We’ll see,” he says. “If we do good, maybe we can open another one across town.”
