A new twin-home development is coming to the 520-acre Cornerstone master planned community near 21st and Andover Road.
Laham Development sold 19 acres to GJ Partners, which plans to build Prairie Pointe at Cornerstone, a development with 102 garden-style units.
There will be a range of floor plans featuring homes with between three and five bedrooms. Each unit will have a two-car garage with either a zero entry or a lower level that views out.
Most of the homes will be on a cul-de-sac.

“We think this will be a great addition to the Cornerstone Development,” Josh Smith, the GJ Partners managing member, said in a statement.
“We believe this is a great location given the proximity to Martin Elementary and the other schools within the Andover School District.”
Cornerstone already is home to the Kansas Medical Center, KMC Office Plaza and Andover Family Medicine.
Ritchie Development is developing 450 single-family homes at Cornerstone, and there’s a retail center planned for 30 acres at the northwest corner of 21st and Andover Road.
Construction on Prairie Pointe will start this month, and the first phase will be done and ready for residents to begin moving in by spring.
