Hairology Salon & Spa opens at Reflection Ridge Plaza

Michelle Ryan used to drive by Reflection Ridge Plaza near 21st and Ridge Road where First Class Hair used to be and wonder about opening her own salon there.

“It’s still empty,” she says she’d note. “Still empty.”

Finally, after about 15 years of working out of other places, Ryan decided to open Hairology Salon & Spa in the 2,500-square-foot space she’d been eyeing at 7348 W. 21st St.

“I just kind of always wanted to have my own shop,” Ryan says.

She’s still remodeling the space and will officially open in a couple of weeks, but Ryan is already there styling some customers’ hair amid the remodeling.

Another stylist is there as well in addition to an aesthetician. Ryan says she has three other stylists who “are going to kind of straggle in here pretty soon.”

She’s looking to hire two more full-time stylists and a massage therapist.

Ryan says Reflection Ridge Plaza has easy parking and access to both K-96 and I-235.

“It’s a great location.”
