On Tuesday, Tulsa-based United States Beef Corp. is celebrating the reopening of its Arby’s restaurant in the Sweetbriar Shopping Center at 21st and Amidon.
It closed July 24 for a complete facelift. The reopening celebration will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday with a chance for free food and prizes.
This Arby’s first opened in 1979. In 2014, it was “refreshed,” but U.S. Beef CEO John Davis said it was time for more serious remodeling with the Arby’s “Inspire” design.
The look “has really been a game changer for us,” Davis said in a statement.

“The revitalized restaurant includes updates to the interior and exterior, such as a fresh new color palate, strong geometric shapes and renewed materials and subway tiling,” he said.
“We want our friends in Wichita to have high expectations for their dining experience from the moment they drive onto our lot.”
