Wichita Gymboree store to remain open with restructuring

Last month, San Francisco-based Gymboree Corp. filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy and announced it planned to close about 350 Gymboree and Crazy 8 stores as part of a court-supervised restructuring.

The list is now out, and Wichita’s Gymboree store at Bradley Fair is not on it. That store will remain open as restructuring moves forward.

The company says the closures will help it “focus resources on locations with the greatest potential and improve the profitability of the overall business.”
