Alefs Harley-Davidson sale in the works

Paula Feist Alefs says she and her husband, Dan, aren’t quite ready to talk yet, but she confirms they’re in the process of selling their Alefs Harley-Davidson in Park City.

“Dan and I are basically retiring,” she says.

They’ve owned the business for almost 12 years and moved it to a new building in Park City in late 2006.

“It’s been good,” Feist Alefs says of business. “The best it could be through the Obama years.”

She says the potential buyer is not local. Since the deal is still in the works, Feist Alefs says she’d rather not say more until it’s completed.

“We should know something in another couple of weeks.”
