The third Wichita-area uBreakiFix store is going to open this week at the Village at Greenwich, and it’s going to be the flagship store for partners Bill Ramsey, Bryson Butts and David Hensley.
“We knew that the northeast side of Wichita was growing,” Ramsey says. “It didn’t have anything over here really for taking care of broken phones, computers, tablets – things like that.”
He says the store will “fix anything if it has a power button.”
That includes things such as vacuum cleaners, Hoverboards and, as the company did at one of its sister stores once, even an ’80s boom box.

Ramsey calls the center, which is at the northeast corner of 21st and Greenwich, a “premium” site.
The 1,500-square-foot store, which joins ones in NewMarket Square and Derby, is the chain’s latest model.
“There’s a lot of purpose behind the design changes,” Hensley says. “There was a lot of intentionality built into it.”
Ramsey says the store has a modern, clean look.
All that’s missing for it to open is its sign.
“It’s just difficult to open without the signage,” Ramsey says.
He says the opening likely will be Wednesday.
Ramsey doesn’t have details yet, but he says at least a few more uBreakiFix stores will follow for Wichita.
“I would say by the end of the year we should have at least one new location picked out.”
