Koch's CFO to give business lecture at KSU

Koch Industries' chief financial officer will be the spring 2014 speaker at a Kansas State University business college event.

Steve Feilmeier, executive vice president and CFO for Wichita-based Koch Industries, will speak at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Forum Hall at the K-State Student Union in Manhattan, according to a news release from K-State.

The speech is part of the KSU College of Business Administration’s Distinguished Lecture Series.

As CFO, Feilmeier oversees Koch Industries’ global financial network and serves on the company’s business development board, as well as the boards of several Koch Industries subsidiaries.

He began his career with Koch in 1997 as controller for Koch Chemical Group. Before joining Koch Industries, Feilmeier held a variety of positions at PepsiCo, and was manager of taxation at KPMG Peat Marwick. A certified public accountant, he earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from Wichita State University.

Lectures are given every semester and are sponsored by Commerce Bank and the William T. Kemper Foundation.
