8 get Wichita Federal Credit Union scholarships
Wichita Federal Credit Union has announced its 2016 Dana Winkler Scholarship award recipients, according to a news release.
Eight Kansas high school graduates will receive $1,000 each toward their postsecondary education. Students were recognized for their dedication to academics, school activities and community involvement, according to the release.
The credit union started the scholarship program in 2004. Along with their high school and (when available) postsecondary school, the recipients are:
Saige Baalman, Maize High School (Benedictine College)
Isaac Gonzalez, Augusta High School (University of Kansas)
Megan Holder, Northwest High
Gabriel Nixon, Wichita East
Sean Naudet, School of the Osage (Missouri State University)
Emily Roets, Derby High School (Wichita State)
Adelyn Schurle, Valley Center High School (Butler Community College)
Sara Zoglman, Garden Plain High School (Oklahoma State University)
