Sidney Graber of Citizens Bank of Kansas was recently awarded a scholarship from the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado, according to a news release.

As part of a “future leadership” scholarship, the school will provide Graber with a nearly $4,000 discount on fees for up to three years of education at the Boulder-based institution.

Co-sponsored by the Kansas Bankers Association, the scholarship is made available annually to an individual who has demonstrated leadership and commitment to the banking industry, the release said.

“The banking industry and the communities we serve have a bright future because of the leadership of bankers such as Sid,” said Chuck Stones, president of the Kansas Bankers Association, in the release. “This scholarship is in recognition of his leadership in his bank and the communities it serves.”

Graber is the branch president of the bank’s Kingman location. For more information about the scholarship, visit Gsbcolorado.org.
