Bank SNB expands footprint in Texas

The holding company of Bank SNB said it will open a branch in Fort Worth, Texas.

Southwest Bancorp, based in Stillwater, Okla., said in a news release that it plans to open a full-service branch at 301 Commerce St. in Fort Worth.

Southwest said it has hired five bankers from the Fort Worth area to staff the Bank SNB office, which it is currently operating as a loan production office until bank regulators approve its branch application.

The Fort Worth office will bring the $1.8 billion bank’s total offices to 22 offices in Oklahoma, Kansas and Texas. In Wichita, Bank SNB operates branches in east and west Wichita.
