CornerBank hires VP of asset management
CornerBank has hired Brenda Butters as its new vice president of asset management, according to a news release.
Butters, who most-recently worked as the president of Walnut Valley Title in Winfield, will be based out of the bank’s Winfield office and will provide leadership for its trust division, according to the release.
“Brenda understands the importance of estate and business succession planning,” said CornerBank President/CEO Bruce Schwyhart in the release. “She will work closely with our customers to help them with their trust and wealth management needs.”
Butters is a member of the board of directors for the Winfield Chamber of Commerce, where she is a past chairwoman, and also serves as a city commissioner in Winfield, according to the release. In addition to Winfield, CornerBank has branches in Wichita, Arkansas City, Douglass, Lawrence, Oxford and Wellington.
