Equity Bank sets opening date for Waterfront branch

Equity Bank will open its new Waterfront branch Oct. 20, the bank said Wednesday.

The 7,200-square-foot branch at 1555 N. Webb, near the northwest corner of 13th and Webb, will replace Equity’s existing branch at 555 N. Webb.

That existing branch, near the corner of Central and Webb, will be open through Oct. 18, officials of the $1.2 billion bank said.

A ribbon-cutting is planned for the Waterfront branch at 4 p.m. Oct. 22.

Equity has four branches in the Wichita area.
