Bank of America to add lobby services at its motor bank facility downtown

A Bank of America official said the company will make some minor improvements to one downtown facility in light of plans to close a different downtown facility.

The bank is remodeling its drive-through-only facility at 411 S. Topeka to include a lobby with teller services and a financial consultant, said Bank of America spokeswoman Diane Wagner.

The remodeling will keep three drive-through teller lanes and a fourth lane for a drive-up ATM, she said.

The company also will expand its parking to accommodate customers using lobby services.

“The overall footprint will remain the same with no physical expansion,” she said.

The south Topeka remodeling project comes as the bank prepares for a Nov. 21 closing of its branch inside the Bank of America Center at 100 N. Broadway.
