American AgCredit plans new northwest Wichita office

American AgCredit will break ground on a new building in northwest Wichita next month.

The bank that is part of the Farm Credit System and provides financial services to agricultural and rural customers expects to start construction in May on a 35,000-square-foot building at 4105 N. Ridge.

The Santa Rosa, Calif.-based institution currently operates its Wichita office at 7940 W. Kellogg.

General contractor for the project is Simpson Construction Services, and the architect is Spangenberg Phillips Tice Architecture.

AgCredit officials hope to open the new building in the fall of 2016.
