Transavia places order for 17 Boeing 737s
Boeing said a subsidiary of Air France KLM Group has placed an order for 17 Next-Generation 737-800s with an option for three more.
Boeing said the order by Transavia Company is valued at $1.6 billion at current list prices.
The additional aircraft, the fuselages of which are built by Spirit AeroSystems in Wichita, are expected to support Transavia’s growing operations in France and the Netherlands.
Transavia, which already has a fleet of 45 Next-Generation 737s, serves 110 destinations in Europe and North Africa.
