French firm awards Metal Finishing multiyear contract for Boeing 787 work
Metal Finishing Co., a Wichita-based aircraft supplier, has received a multiyear contract from Figeac-Aero Groupe of France.
The contract is for special processing and part finishing services for the Boeing 787 door program, according to a news release Wednesday. Other details, including the value of the contract, were not disclosed.
The contract was officially signed Wednesday at the Farnborough International Airshow in England.
Metal Finishing will perform the contract from its facilities in Wichita and in Chihuahua City, Mexico.
