United drops nonstop service from Wichita to LA
Three airlines are planning service changes at Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport, according to an e-mail newsletter from the airport.
United Airlines will discontinue its nonstop service from Wichita to Los Angeles March 1.
But Allegiant Airlines will resume its nonstop service to Los Angeles on June 3, offering flights on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
And starting in April, American Airlines will increase from four to seven its daily flights to Dallas, but it will be using smaller Embraer and Canadair regional jets instead of larger narrow-body aircraft.
