Eisenhower airport passengers rise nearly 3 percent in April

The number of passengers flying to and from Wichita Eisenhower National Airport increased in April.

The Wichita Airport Authority’s April 2016 Aviation Activity Report said 126,366 passengers used Eisenhower, a nearly 3 percent increase from 123,103 passengers in April 2015.

For the year, 470,323 passengers have traveled to and from Eisenhower, a nearly 5 percent increase from 449,889 passengers in the first four months of 2015.

The number of daily departures at Eisenhower in April was 35, unchanged from the same month a year ago.
