Aircraft equipment manufacturer Honeywell has selected FlightSafety as its exclusive maintenance training provider and will initially offer the training at facilities in Wichita and Dallas.

Under the agreement, terms of which weren’t disclosed in a Monday news release, FlightSafety will provide maintenance training for Honeywell engines, auxiliary power systems, avionics, Satcomm and environmental control systems.

Training in Wichita will be offered at FlightSafety’s maintenance training center at 2021 S. Eisenhower. The training will be offered starting in June in Wichita and Dallas, FlightSafety said in the release.

The Honeywell training will be rolled out later to other FlightSafety sites in North America, Asia Pacific, Europe and Africa.

In Wichita, FlightSafety provides pilot and maintenance training at five locations, including for Bombardier Learjet and Textron Aviation Cessna and Beechcraft.
