March passenger activity flat at Eisenhower airport

Passenger traffic was flat in March at Wichita Eisenhower National Airport, according to a report Tuesday.

The Wichita Airport Authority’s March Aviation Activity Report said the number of people flying to and from Eisenhower was 125,378, a 0.45 percent increase from 124,812 in March 2015.

There were three more daily flights in March than in the same month a year ago, according to the report.

For the year, 345,957 people have flown to and from Eisenhower, a 5.25 percent increase from the first three months of 2015, the report said.
