Passenger traffic at Wichita Eisenhower National Airport increased 11 percent in February, according to a report.

The Wichita Airport Authority’s Aviation Activity Report said 106,206 people flew to and from Eisenhower compared with 95,562 in February 2015.

The increase includes an extra day in February 2016 because of leap year. But it also includes one less daily flight than the same month a year ago: 32 in February 2016 compared with 33 in February 2015.

For the first two months of 2016, passenger counts stood at 218,579, an 8 percent increase from 201,974 in the same period last year.
