Spirit executive Phil Anderson to leave company in May
Long-time Spirit AeroSystems executive Phil Anderson will leave the company May 31.
That’s according to a Feb. 24 Securities and Exchange Commission filing by Spirit made public Tuesday.
Anderson has been with Spirit since November 2006 and is its senior vice president of special projects. In his nearly 10 years with the company, Anderson has also served as senior vice president of the company’s defense business and for four years was its chief financial officer.
A Spirit spokesman said the company couldn’t say anything more about Anderson’s departure beyond what was in the SEC filing.
Prior to joining Spirit, Anderson worked at Boeing for nearly 18 years, including at its Chicago headquarters.
He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business from Wichita State University.
