FedEx 757 makes emergency landing at Eisenhower Airport
A FedEx Boeing 757 made an emergency landing at Wichita Eisenhower National Airport on Friday morning.
Valerie Wise, air service and business development director at the airport, said two people were on the narrowbody cargo plane, which landed safely about 11:40 a.m.
She said the crew reported problems with the plane’s pressurization.
The plane, FedEx Express Flight 406 was traveling from Portland, Ore., to Memphis, Tenn., and requested to land at Eisenhower as a precaution, a FedEx spokeswoman said in an e-mail to The Eagle.
“The aircraft is currently being evaluated by our maintenance team,” she said.
