Bombardier will mark the delivery of its 75th Learjet 75 at an event Wednesday at its Learjet plant in Wichita.

The ceremony will be attended by senior executives from Bombardier Business Aircraft, headquartered in Canada.

The Learjet 75 and the smaller Learjet 70 are upgraded Learjet 40 and 45 models, with improved avionics, engines and new winglets. The jets were first announced at the European Business Aviation Association Convention in Geneva in May 2012.

The Learjet 75 received its Federal Aviation Administration type certificate in November 2013.
