Boeing and Airbus added to their commercial aircraft order books from Chinese customers this week.

Air China finalized an order for six more Boeing 777-300 Extended Range aircraft, Boeing said, in an order valued at more than $2 billion at list prices. Boeing announced the deal Thursday evening.

Earlier on Thursday, Airbus said BOC Aviation, a Singapore-based leasing company owned by the Bank of China, ordered 30 more A320 Family jets: 18 A320 new engine option and 12 A320 current engine option aircraft. Airbus did not disclose the value of the deal, but at published list prices it would be valued at about $3.1 billion.

Commercial airplane orders such as these typically include discounts.

Wichita-based Spirit AeroSystems builds parts of the Boeing 777 and Airbus A320.
